Families and Individuals:

I offer an initial telephone consultation or online conversation to help unravel concerns and begin to plan an individualised way forward for children, families and schools.

I then offer a minimum of two evaluation sessions which explore autism and linked neurodiverse traits. The rich information derived from these sessions may help to inform a possible diagnostic pathway via a report, or clients may prefer to simply discuss specific and tailored practical strategies as we work through the evaluation. These comprehensive ninety-minute sessions can be completed in person, via telephone or video link. I recommend leaving a break of a few days between these sessions to allow for reflection and to ensure clients have an opportunity to add to or refine their observations and thoughts.

I provide brief notes via email as a record of our conversations – notes are sent following invoice settlement. Please note – if requested, a formal report is charged for separately and is not included in the evaluation and advice sessions.

Schools and Community Settings:

I also have extensive experience in providing detailed observational profiles, advice and resources to help schools support the individual needs of ALN / ASD pupils. I am happy to discuss how my skills could be useful in a variety of settings – contact me to discuss possible options.

I can help school staff and families to navigate the newly reformed and complex ALN programme and pathways in Wales and can signpost to websites, services and resources that may be useful.

In addition, as I have spent ten years delivering various training packages to schools and community settings, I can offer bespoke training sessions to suit the specific needs of schools and staff on request.

Possible training deliveries include:

Developing Communication – Practical Approaches

Writing and Using Social Stories

Understanding Autism

Sensory Needs and Sensory Regulation Approaches
